On Wednesday 30 October 2019 at the Sala Polifunzionale of Mosnigo at 8.30 pm the author Maurizia Manto will present the book "The Benedictine Abbey of Santa Bona in Vidor. A millenary history".

A journey into memory, rummaging through the long list of persecutions that also in the Treviso area saw hundreds of Jews victims of abuse and imprisonment. This is the event organized for Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 17.00 at the House of Musichiere in conjunction with the Day of Memory, inviting the historian Daniel Ceschin to talk about the condition of the Jews in the province of Treviso in the period 1938-1945.

Who is Daniele Ceschin. Daniele Ceschin obtained the National Scientific Qualification for the role of associate professor in Contemporary History. A scholar in particular of the Great War, he is the author and editor of volumes ranging from the history of culture between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries to the Catholic movement, from the history of assistance to trade unionism, from the internment of foreign Jews in Italy to the Resistance. On the First World War he published, in addition to numerous articles: The exiles of Caporetto. Refugees in Italy during the Great War (Laterza 2006 and 2014); Italy of the Piave. The last year of the Great War (Salerno Editrice 2017). Together with Mario Isnenghi, he edited the volume The Great War: from Intervention to the "mutilated victory" (Utet 2008). He is currently working on an overall study on the Great War and, for Laterza, a book on Italian defeats from the Risorgimento to the Second World War.

Thursday, October 18 at 20.30 at the House of Musichiere will be held a conference on the theme "Francesco Baracca: a hero, a myth" to learn more about this Italian hero who died in Nervesa della Battaglia.
Francesco Baracca was the main ace of Italian aviation and a gold medal for military valor in the First World War, during which he was awarded 34 air victories.

The evening replaces the presentation of the book "L'altra Caporetto" by the author Sister Albarosa Bassani scheduled for the same day but canceled due to the author's commitments.

Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 21.00 at the Monumental Park of the Island of the Dead will take place the event "First Shadow Line. The boys of '99: from the dreams of life to the nightmare of war".

A journey through the memory of what happened a century ago, seen through the stories of the Boys of '99, called to fight and embossed in the horror of the war when only 18 years old.
A multimedia show, through lights and shadows, sounds and emotions that will bring the viewer back in time, in the place where this happened, in a monumental and naturalistic park that was the scene of some of the most important and decisive events for the end of the Great War. In the magical atmosphere of twilight, this journey will begin, which will not fail to arouse strong emotions.

The duration of the show will be about 1h 45 minutes and in case of bad weather it will be postponed to Sunday 20 May 2018 at 21.00.

Saturday, April 7 at 17.00 will be inaugurated, at the House of Musichiere, the solo exhibition of the artist Salvatore Grillo, aka Grillos, with an introduction by Vesna Maria Brocca.
Salvatore Grillo was born in 1947 in Ponte della Priula, where he still lives and works. At the end of his youth studies he seeks a truer existence, more suited to his nature and he begins the first approaches with the art world. He attended the school of painting and perspective and enrolled in a free course of the nude at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, but leaves after a few months not feeling yet realized. And so he approaches his gaze to sculpture, an art that more than anything else manages to involve him completely. He studies and works deepening the various stylistic techniques, thus managing to find his ego in poetry, harmony and beauty of the female body. In his sculptures, Grillos transfers this inner research, shaping them with skill and knowledge, fusing their ideal beauty into their shapes.

A few days after the Women's Day, on Saturday 10 March at 20.30 at the Casa del Musichiere will be presented the show / concert The strong ring. The woman in the songs of Fabrizio De André of the Associazione Culturale Barabàn, with critical texts in gigantography by Gabriele Bagonoli.
A show of songs about women taken from the songs of Fabrizio De André, from the folk tradition and the poetics of Alda Merini. A look at the female world through a succession of voices, stories and poems of women.
The title of the show is based on the book "The strong ring" by Nuto Revelli, an extraordinary collection of testimonies on the condition of women in the rural world. Stories that photograph events, generations, different worlds from which the centrality of women emerges.

On Saturday March 3rd at 8.30 pm at the Casa del Musichiere, Maestro Mariano Saccol will perform a classical music concert playing with his electronic accordion some songs by Liszt, Chopin, Verdi, Wagner, Skrjabin, Haydn.

Monday, February 26th 2018 at 20.30 at the Casa del Musichiere there will be an evening to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the film tragedy of Moriago.
After the presentation by Vesna Maria Brocca will be given space to Monica Stella (reciting voice), Laura Toffoli (soprano) and Leonardo Mariotto (violin and keyboard).

Saturday 27th January 2018 at 20.30 at the Casa del Musichiere prof. Luigino Bravin will present his book "Il clarinetto del rabbino Smuhel" accompanied by musicians Michele Uliana (on clarinet) and Carlo Bravin (on saxophone).
The novel tells, through a story of fantasy, the events, places and facts of the war. A story that began in 1944 in a city surrounded by the Red Army, continues through the forests of Belarus, in Palestine via the Birobidzhan, an autonomous Jewish republic in Siberia.

Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 17.00 at the House of Musichiere will be inaugurated the personal exhibition "Instinct gestuale" by the artist Graziano Sozza, with the introduction of Vesna Maria Brocca.
Graziano Sozza was born in Sernaglia della Battaglia (TV) in 1955, when he was young he showed his interest in art, painting in particular. After graduating at artistic high school in Treviso he started partecipating in variuous exhibitions and pictorial competitions with good affirmations. His technique is gestural and introspective. The artist is always looking for new chromatic effects that give emotion by experimenting continuous doughs using oil colors, acrylics, enamels and various materials that are applied to the work.

Starting on November 30 and for six weeks on Thursday, it will become a fixed date for local history enthusiasts about the first world conflict.
Three will be the "didactic" nights dedicated to the presentation of works of local historians and three of those dedicated to cooking in as many restaurants in our communal territory.

The Regione of Veneto organized a series of five evenings, renamed "Meetings near the river", through which it will propose some in-depth studies on the theme of water.
On Wednesday, November 15, at 8.30 pm our town will host the "Piave, Motherland' sacred river" meeting at the Casa del Musichiere.

In the meeting room on the first floor of the Musichiere House, Friday 27th October at 20.30, will be shown the Emergency's web documentary "History of a Bullet".
Written by Cecilia Strada and with the narration voice of the italian actor Valerio Mastandrea, "History of a Bullet" is the webdoc with which Emergency has chosen to return the situation of war zones, through the story of the experience of an Emergency's operator by fifteen years in service in Afghanistan, between emergency room and operating room.
Red thread of narrative is just the birth and life of a bullet, from the time it is produced until it completes its terrible mission; the victim is a seven-year-old girl that has been shot in her head in Afghanistan.
The website www.storiadiunapallottola.it collects and organizes documents, interviews, videos and photos. The multi-sensorial navigation comes to the heart. The narration is from the war and not only about it, through the eyes and words of whom lives it everyday as patient or as staff member at the Emergency's War Victims' Surgery Center in Kabul.
During the evening some Emergency's volunteers along with Paola Carmignola (a trevigiana nurse with experience in Emergency's centers in Afghanistan and Sierra Leone) will guide us in the documentary.

The Arditi released Moriago della Battaglia in October 1918 and started the overwhelming recovery that led to the final victory of Vittorio Veneto. The actions of these young guys despising danger for  homeland love, after the easy celebrations of the first hour, have fallen into oblivion.
The Municipal Administration of Moriago della Battaglia wants to remember and honor these valiant men.

Saturday 6th May 2017 at 7 pm at the inner garden of Caffè Centrale in Moriago della Battaglia there will be the convivial concert for piano, singers and spectators "Talking with Wolfgang ".
Take a summer evening and a banquet, the perfume of the vineyards, a piano, two singers and ... Mozart!
The songs are taken from "The marriage of Figaro", "Don Giovanni", "Thus do they all" (all composed by Mozart with with an Italian libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte) and are dialogic arias, it means that there is a solo voice that sings while talking with other characters on stage.
Every scene will be illustrated and spectators will be given information about what to do so that they could interact with actors and interpret the roles that the director will give them.
All songs will be alternated with tasty dishes.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Concertistic Association Camelia Rubra and the Caffè Centrale.

The event “1000 Red Poppies” is part of the "Waiting for Muster" calendar; the initiative aims to involve the public offering insights and gathering moments ahead of the 90th Alpini National Gathering.
The show will take place Saturday 29th April 2017 at 8pm in the frame of the monumental park of the Isola dei Morti, which took on a historical significance during the Italian counter-offensive in October 1918, when Arditi have crossed the river Piave to attack the Austro-Hungarian troops, and one of the most bloody and bloody battles of the First World War took place.
It's a multimedial and dynamic show, divided into four different times (as well as different areas of the park): a multivision, a staged reading, a candlelight vigil and a musical moment.
In case of bad weather the event will be postponed to Sunday 30th April at 8pm.

The contribution that Sandro Chinellato, Moglianese-born and coneglianese of adoption, gives to the art of engraving is extraordinary. His engraves are taken as a model by anyone approaching this art where precision and attention to detail are the masters. Thanks to his prints and valuable paintings he is writing the history of contemporary art.

Saturday 14th January 2017 at 17:00 in the Casa del Musichiere there will take place the opening of the solo exhibition of artist Guido Raimondi; born in Pula, he attended the Art School of Carrara. Throughout his career he has taught drawing, has been set designer and organizer of show events, as well as director of the Montebelluna’s Teatro Comunale and Villa Pisani Cultural Center. He has participated in various exhibitions in Italy and abroad and his paintings are in private collection throughout several cities in Europe and Canada. The source of inspiration of the painter has always been impressionism to modern interpretation. Building upon the pure and intense colors of colors but never violent, in its essence is the reality of daily life. Under this reading, the exhibition of his work is "a modern figurative relationship with the outside world".
During the evening, introduced by Vesna Maria Jug, will also be present Martina Villanova (guest of honor) and Davide Spagnol.
Martina Villanova lies in Sernaglia della Battaglia and is a swimmer of the Sport Life Association of Montebelluna with at her back the participation to a lot of sporting competition, just think that since 2010 she has participated in four World Championships and three European winning 51 medals: 30 in the relay and 21 individual. In July she participated at the World Championships that standed in Florence and took home 6 medals: gold in the mixed 4x100 and 4x100 freestyle, silver in mixed 4x50, in the 800 and 1500 freestyle (doing quests 'last case also the European record) and bronze in the 4x50 freestyle.
Davide Spagnol is a swimmer of the Sport Life Association too and most of all one of our fellow citizen; in past years has won several national medals but nowadays he practice swimming only in his spare time and not at a competitive level.
Upon completion of the presentation there will be the reading of some poems and songs related to the exhibited works.

Saturday 17th December 2016 at 17.00 at the Casa del Musichiere will open the exhibition "Figurative art" of the artist Enrico Tonello, with an introduction by Vesna Maria Brocca. Enrico Tonello, moriaghese painter, has shown remarkable artistic talent since he was child, and received appreciation by established local artists such as the sculptor Carlo Conte and the painter Luigi Gay.
Professor Giuseppe Modolo, known fresco painter of Sacred Art, had him as a student and then directed him towards the free courses of Fine Arts in Venice.
Throughout its activities Tonello has exhibited in various cities in Italy and Europe.

On the occasion of the International Day Against Violence Against Women, Sunday 17th November at 17:00 at the Casa del Musichiere there will be the concert "Voice to the silence".
The production of Barabàn interweaves some of the most beautiful songs about women taken from the Fabrizio De André songbook with readings of testimony and excerpts from books by Dacia Maraini, Riccardo Iacona, Conchita De Gregorio, Serena Dandini, and Alda Merino's music poems (one of the most important poets of our time).

Good aging, the first "oversights" and "failures" of the body, the support of public and private services, the centrality of the family, the assistance's issues, legal and economic aspects of the disease are some of the topics that will be discussed with qualified experts to help spread the active aging culture, ethics of solidarity, the maintenance of intergenerational relationships.
Speakers at the event Dr. Lidia Zanetti (Geriatra ULSS7 Pieve Di Soligo), Dr. Katia Rossi (worker of Moriago della Battaglia Town) and, as a coordinator, Dr. Umberto Lamberti (psychologist, psychotherapist and president of the non-profit Associazione Famigliari Alzheimer).

From 1 to 23 October at the Casa del Musichiere will host the Roberta Coral's exhibition "La Musica dei colori" at the following times:
- Saturday from 15:00 to 19:00;
- Sunday from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 19:00.

On 11 October 2015, the discovery of our landscapes and their history along the Piave from the Bridge of Vidor to Priula Bridge, through the route "The Great War from potne Bridge".

They will be manned by various associations all the artifacts recovered from the Great War project. This year will be the epicenter of the City of Battle Moriago that will turn to display his special historical, artistic, landscape and environmental.
